Satellite U405-S2820 memory upgrade

I am a proud owner of a Satellite U405-S2820, and wish to upgrade my laptop's memory. currently it has the original 2048Mb PC2-5300 DDR2 SDRAM.
I am new to the computer field and am not sure how to find out which memory will be compatible with my laptop.
At several on-line shops I saw memories that are labeled PC-5300, without the 2 after th PC. or with higher numbers after the PC2, as PC2-6400, and I was unsure if they are compatible with my laptop.
I would be very appreciative for any help you could lend me with understanding which memories are compatible with my laptop.

Go to Kingston or Crucial. Enter in your model number in the Memory Configurator and order what it recommends. Make sure you don't order or purchase any ram with the word VALUE in it as it doesn't work well in Toshiba Laptops.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

Coby, Toshiba recommends and supports the best Kingston memory for add-on. You can view it here.
Memory Configuration for Toshiba Satellite U405-S2820
Others may work, but they are more likely to be out of spec.
