Hi,
I was looking at the T115 series.
I am leaning toward Toshiba mainly for the battery life.
The T115-S1100 (cel. m 743) states a battery life of 8 hours while the T115-S1105 (pentium su2700) states 9 hours.
At Office Depot, the S1100 is stated as up to 9 hours....
Anyone knows why such a difference when both battery are 6 cell at 5600 mah ?
Is it becauseof the processor ?
I am mainly looking at the battery side as I need as much as I could get (w/o buying in the immediate furture a second battery) so I could use the laptop all day at school (Onenote, word, some browsing).
The processor speed is fine (they are more or less the same), and if the rundown of the battery is the same, I may get the S1100, as it is cheaper (as of now , I am considering teh S1105 due to the battery staetement).
Anyone has the model (one of the other) to let us know the battery life, or any input regarding those numbers (realisticly getting maybe 7 and 8 hours) ?

Hi!, I am also buying the T115, but the S1105. Every site I read the specs, the main difference is not the battery, it´s the processor. The S1100 has a celeron and the S1105 a Pentium. For me it´s a big difference because I had bad perfomance experience with Celeron processor. At equal caracteristics, the Pentium always perform better, but if gfour you is ok, go for it. I am buying today.
