Toshiba Laptop A200-FE2 problem

hi guys.i have this toshiba A200-FES laptop,i bought it from canada and now using it in Pakistan.i lost its recovery disc while coming back to PAK.so now few days back my preinstalled vista gor currupted, and since we dont have geniune windows available here we have to use pirated windows, so i download vista 32BIT ultimate.i installed it, and when i tried to activate it using a activator and restarted it,after toshiba logo all i can see was a black screen with a DOS like cursor blinking.after 2 3 reinstall and facing the same problem after activating.i figured out that it was the activator cousing the problem, now im runing the vista without activation which will be gone in few days (30 days limit) so after searching i came to know that there is somthing to do with hard disk configuration.i looked in BIOS but can find any option to change HDD from SATA to IDE or IDE to SATA..im guessing this might fix the problem..but i cant find this option in BIOS...

my BIOS version is 1.70.

so any help will be very much appreciated.

or anyone kind enought to upload the recovery discs of this laptop, i will be very much thankfull to him/her.

THANKYOU

Only Microsoft can help you activate a pirated copy of Windows.

Re: Toshiba Laptop A200-FE2 problem

activating is nt the problem, the problem is how to change the configuration of the hard disk.

Re: Toshiba Laptop A200-FE2 problem

najaf,

IDE, or PATA and SATA are physically different, so there is no way to change that in BIOS.  Further discussion of your issue will not be allowed until you get a licensed copy of Windows or other legitimate legal operating system.  This forum does not tolerate piracy.
