I was upgraded the memory of my laptop from 2GB to 4GB but the laptop only recognize 2GB... What can I do that my laptop accept the upgrade of the new 4GB

Without the full model of the laptop, there's nothing to say...

Re: Upgrade Memory

The Satellite A305D-SP6801 specifications say that it can accept 4 GB of RAM.  If you are only seeing 2 GB, then the issue is probably incompatible RAM.  If you aren't using the exact Kingston module for your model, 2 each KTT667D2/2G, then that is the problem.  Toshiba laptops are known to be 'picky' about the memory they'll accept.  Other brands may or may not work.

If the modules are KTT667D2/2G's, then I'd suspect a bad module.  This assumes that you've installed the modules properly.

Kingston Value RAM (KVR) is not the correct module, despite whatever the retailer said.  It is the cause of your problem.  I hope you can take it back and get a refund.  BTW, the correct memory is $53 a module...
