Win7 or Not

I received my Windows 7 upgrade in the mail today.  Now, what to do with it?  After reading about the problems being encountered, I wonder if I should leave well enough alone - keep running Vista.  What are the advantages that make it worth upgrading?  Oh, I bought my Toshiba Satellite L505-S6946 back in August.  The only problem I currently have is the Toshiba DVD player won't  work- won't switch to Aero. Any way, is Win7 all that?   I need wisdom.

Re: Win7 or Not

If you have to ask this question you have basically answered it already.  My advice for you is to wait a few weeks while all of the bugs are ironed out and then upgrade to Windows 7.  It is a better OS overall than Vista, but it is having some teething pains at the moment.  If you don't want to deal with these issues then wait until after the first of the year and upgrade then.

Re: Win7 or Not

That sounds like the right choice for now.  But once they get the bugs out of the upgrade process and get all of the drivers, utilities, etc. straightened out you should definitely perform the upgrade to Se7en.
