Does the Laptop Satellite A505-S6980 come with recoverey Disks and if not can I get them from Toshiba. I just bought an L505D-S5965 and I am not happy with it, so I am going to upgrade to a Satellite A505-S6980 but I would like the Recoverey Disks. Just incase the HD should go bad. Thank You, Jack

Recovery disks are part of the Recovery Process. They don't ship them, the user needs to burn their own set. This is spelled out in the User's Guide, normally starting around page 60.
And you should find that A505-S6980 to be a FAR superior system. AMD's are okay for desktops but they suck in laptops. The only advantage the L505D-S5965 has is a better graphics solution.
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.
