Is it possible to use the built-in HDMI port to output a Blue-ray movie to a true 1080p HD TV? Will the picture on the TV be in 1080p even though the built in LCD screen (720p) is not?

The Toshiba's HDMI port available on your laptop should give a 1080p regardless of your laptop screen resolution.

My question is how would you listen to the high definition sound? Using a Bose companion 5 for surround sound or connecting to an AV receiver?
