External Firewire Audio Device dropping sound during 3D gaming
Hey everyone,
I am noticing that I am having problems with audio dropouts when I am playing an online 3D adventure game. I have a Satellite A305-S6825 laptop with Intel 965 Express Chipset graphics and an external Presonus Firestudio Project audio interface. I use the audio interface for music production, so the external interface has a lot of audio inputs as well as outputs for studio monitors.
A friend in the game told me that it might be a conflict with the video card's inputs and the external sound card. He told me that I should try to disable the video cards inputs in the system BIOS. I was unable to find a changeable setting in BIOS for this.
Can anyone help me with this problem?
So to sum it up:
I am having audio dropouts when I am playing a 3D game. I have a Satellite A305 laptop with intergrated Intel 965 chipset graphics. I am using an external audio interface. I am trying to figure out how to stop the audio dropouts while I am playing games.
Thanks,
Ryan
