I've had my Qosmio G35AV600 since it first came out.  I love it.  But since I upgraded it to windows sp3 it has crashed on me and I lost everything in it.  It freezes up on me sometimes ( I'll deal with it for now) and the sound has gone out.  At first I didn't let it bother me.  But since I am laid up I use it alot more than my other toshiba and it bothers the heck out of me.  I think I have done everything to troubleshoot it.  It shows that it's working,  I tried it with ear phones and it doesn't even work with them.  Do you think it would be worth the money to get it fixed or do you think it's time to invest in a new one?  I really hope there is something I can do that won't be that drastic.

Jerry sorry it took so long.  I uninstalled SP3 and reinstalled it.  It didn't work.  I tried it a few times.  So I will be calling Tech support to see what they can tell me.  Thanks for the suggestion.

They will tell you to restore the hard drive to its original factory-new state using Toshiba recovery media.
