toshiba satellite L350-171 recovery

was trying to run recovery on my laptop,and it seems there's a problem with it.when i insert recovery disk(had to make one myself from recovery system) it says :"an application has attempted to directly access the hard disk,which cannot be supported.Thais may cause the application to function incorrectly."can anyone tell me how can i restore laptop to factory?Thanx

You have to boot to the Recovery Disk, not run it from within windows.
