HD doubt with Tecra A-8 EZ8313

Hi, I'm having some space troubles in my laptop, Tecra A-8 EZ8313, it has only 80Gb, so I'm thinking of getting a new one, but I don't know if it has a space limit for a HD, I'm planning to buy this one (this is not advertising or anything like it) http://www.circuitcity.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4322423&CatId=2681 so I was wondering before spending the money to get a certain answer to see if it will work on my laptop.

Thanks! Greetings

It should work.  You might need to switch the jumper to SATA 1.5GB/s on that system as I'm not sure if it will support a SATA 3.0GB/s drive otherwise.

As far as a size limit, that is for EIDE drives, not SATA.

If you are using Windows XP you'll need to make sure your install disk is at LEAST SP1 level to recognize a drive larger than 137GB in size though.
