I have a Satellite E105. I'm using an external monitor attached to the HDMI port on the laptop. When I turn the laptop on, the external monitor doesn't react. The desktop only appears on the laptop. If I unplug the monitor's HDMI cable from the laptop and plug it back in, the external monitor comes alive. How can I make the external monitor wake up when I boot the laptop without unplugging and plugging the monitor?
Thanks,

i have an E105 as well (working on it now)
and i honestly don't know your answer and have only connected my laptop via HDMI once the unit was on. havev you tried adjustments in the BIOS? i'd try it right now, but don't want to turn off my computer.
