Only seconds after entering user password the screen begins to flicker and then goes black. Can actually still see the desktop under a very strong light . Computer still seems to operate normally with the exception of the darkened screen. If lid is closed and reopened the screen comes back to life (but for only a minute or so).
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.
Am having similar problem with my same model (Satellite A215-S7437) but while in the middle of working, the screen goes completely black. The computer is still on, but can't see a thing. Always requires a reboot. Anyone else having this problem and if so, what was solution?
