My Sony Bravia LCD TV HDMI cable wont fit in my Satellite L310 HDMI port..any idea why? is HDMI cable comes in different sizes??

nope... only one size of HDMI... there are other ports that you could be mistaking your HMDI for such as a "Display Port."
