I have just bought a Toshiba Satellite harmon/kardon laptop. I don't have a Manuel how do I order one and how much is it? pljames

It should be on the hard drive in Adobe Acrobat Format under the name of User's Guide. All of the models I have seen over the past few years have them there.
You can also download one from the Support Site. If you are from the USA you can go to the Product Support Link at the top of this page, enter in your model information, then click on the User Guide Tab to download it. If you are from some other country you'll need to go to that countries Support Site to download it.
As far as I know they don't have a printed one available other than the short setup pamphlet that comes with the laptop.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

Do you know when the model M55-S3293 was manafactured? What year? I am not the original owner. Can I get the replacement battery for this machine since I am not the original owner? pljames@brmemc.net

I tried to find the d/l manuel from products but it wasn't there. The machine did not come with one and I want to fully understand what all these ports and switches are all over the machine. Thanks. pljames@brmemc.net

I just checked and that model is listed and the manual is there. Did you click on the Blue Text Link that says SHOW ALL MODELS? You need to do that to show older systems like this one.
That model was probably built in 2005 or 2006. If you look at the second digit of the serial number that should tell you. A 9 would be 2009, 8=2008, 7=2007, etc.
