Where is my free upgrade?

So, Windows 7 was released over three weeks ago now ... and I am wondering how long it takes for companies (like Toshiba) to ship the free upgrades? I filled out the form and sent in receipt confirmation months ago.
I already have Windows 7 installed on the machine but I would like the key.

Call Toshiba at 800-457-7777 and inquire. This forum is just users helping other users.

Rincewind, that number can't tell you anything about the Free Upgrade. The only way to contact the people handling this is by e-mail at Windows7upgrade@tais.toshiba.com and they can't tell you much about this.
CKNapp, at the moment people with a Proof Of Purchase Confirmation in July are getting their disks. Depending on when your POP was confirmed you should get yours within 60 days from October 22nd or the POP confirmation date Which ever is later.
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

Not really. Like all of the other departments of Toshiba, they aren't very forthcoming with information.

I just got a response to the e-mail I sent them a week ago. In it they state that if the status is listed as shipped but there is no shipping info then it's being processed and is ready to ship out. Once it ships the tracking number will be listed and an e-mail will be sent. Funny how mine arrived last week but according to the info in that e-mail it's hasn't actually been shipped yet. Maybe I'm getting a second copy.

Maybe you're getting my copy. SIGH. If we get an order number, does this mean we are all set? Here I thought this would be a quick process. Never. Now I wish I had waited.
