I have a new Satellite P505D-S8930. Is there a way to setup a dual boot using an external USB drive. I would like to boot the MAC OS from the USB drive.
Anyone had any experience doing this?
The laptop has an AMD processor with ATI video. If anyone could suggest a good message board relating to these very custom configurations I would also appreciate the link or links.
Thank you

The next time you start your system hit the F12 key to enter the boot menu to see if it lists USB as a boot device. If so, then it should work as long as the MAC OS supports installing that way. I don't use Mac's so I don't know what it is capable of in that regard.
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

Tried the F12 and it didn't bring up a menu. It is anoption in the BIOS setup menu, I can boot from USB, the only thing I'll need to find out now is if I can boot the MAC from USB.
