If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

Received Win 7 disc today from Toshiba. My POP date was 10/06/09. Installed two hours ago on my A505-S6960 64 bit. The install was an upgrade over Vista 64 bit. The install took approximately 1 hr and thirty minutes. I used the upgrade assistant and every thing went fine. Everything on the computer works and I am a happy camper. I have backed up Win 7, Made an ISO and a repair disc. I had previously did 3 clean installs on my other computers and had no problems. This was my first upgrade over Vista and was not sure how it would turn out.

Mine's still not tracking. Did your numbers change at all because the number they gave me isn't even long enough for the DHL website and isn't comparable to any number on the USPS website?

 

My number is 9 digits starting with 000******

The tracking info never changed. Could not track it. Looked in the mailbox today and it was there.

Once I sent in my proof of purchase in, it took about a month or so to get approved...and that was done digitally. Since you mailed yours in it might take a little longer. Just hold tight, or if you're still concerned I would just email the Toshiba help email.

Tracking info never appeared on the Toshiba Track Your Order page.  It's still not showing anything under the Carrier or Tracking Number/Link headings.

I got this 2 1/2 months after I got my POP Approved letter.  Does anyone else have any idea what to do next.  The Arvato number gives a busy signal.  The number I found is 661-702-2742.

So my Windows even though it says its shipped is still not here? How long should I wait before going apesh!t at Toshiba?

 

POP 8/19/09

 

One day I looked and it said shipped. I emailed toshiba and there hasn't been a reply from them for 3 days now. When I go to customer service phone there is no way i can talk to sumone about windows.

 

 

This is some ***** lol
