Re: Windows 7 Upgrade - Quick Question

[ Edited ]

Well, I've been "in process" for a few days now. So I guess that means it doesn't mean anything! I really doubt it takes a few days to put some discs in a box and ship them...Jim if you're reading this, what exactly does "in process" mean? Is it a sign of motion or a test of devotion?

If Toshiba sold as few computers as Alienware does they could probably get theirs out as fast.  While I don't know the exact figures for each I imagine that Toshiba sells about as many laptops a day as Alienware sells in an entire year.  That's a LOT of disks to ship out.

God this sucks.  Nothing seems to have changed except the status...and that was apparently just a bunch of BS.

Within 60 days from when your Proof Of Purchase was approved or October 22nd, whichever is later.

Re: Windows 7 Upgrade - Quick Question

Then you need to follow up on that and verify that it has been received and approved.  Go to the page you applied for the upgrade from to do this.
