I have a Toshiba Satellite L305D-S5934 laptop. I downloaded iTunes the other night and spent 3 hours putting mp3s on my laptop. The next morning my laptop would not reboot - it just hung at processing. So I tried a system restore, which I am glad was working properly. Before doing system restore I searched the Toshiba website looking to buy a backup disc b/c I didn't realize you have to make them yourself now.
Anyway, the Toshiba website is really confusing to me. Where exactly on the website would I go to to purchase a back up/recovery disc?
Also, there obviously seems to be an incompatibility with Vista & ITunes. Can someone point me to a website that will show me how to properly install ITunes on a laptop with Vista?
Thanks in advance to anyone nice enough to address my questions.

There is no backup disk, only a set of Recovery Disks which can be purchased by following the instructions found in this post.
As for ITunes, your best source of support would be the ITunes support site itself. They created that poc software so they know the most about it.
If you don't bother to post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

For the recovery media, see the section Creating Recovery DVDs starting on p. 60 of the User's Guide.

Apple's iTunes has been compatible with Windows Vista for years. We have it here.
