I have a Satellite A135-S2386 and I can ont get the computer to come on in normal mode. Everytime I turn on the computer it goes dorectly to safe mode and ask for a "PASSWORD". I do not this password or why it has gone to this screen. I have troed numerous times re-booting and also selecting the F2 for setup. But I am asked for a password. Any info to how I may be able to get pass the password would be appreciated. I could probably do a system restore and correct problems. Also the computer was working fine before this happened. I was told that you can go through the back cover and do a master reset, if anyone knows this trick, please share. I do not care if I lose info on the computer, just want to get it back working. I do have the recovery disk if needed.Thanks.

Go to an Authorized Toshiba Service Center with Proof of Purchase. They can remove your password for a fee.
Cheers,

If the issue is due to the documented problem and you haven't updated the BIOS, the service provider will reset the password and update the BIOS without charge.
