All has been running fine, then last week IE7 says it can not display webpage for any website I visit.  I have tried all the remedy options from microsoft troubleshooter but still no joy.  Even tried upgrade to IE8.  Restore is not display any restore points prior to failure.  Op Sys: Vista

What Model# are you discussing please.  Go into Control Panel and under Progams click 'uninstall' ad take IE7 off and then restore IE5/6 version.  Thid get your internet operational.

Which computer? Which Vista?

Describe your internet connection. Broadband? Router? Wireless? And so forth..

Do you have any reason to believe you are connected at all?

Have you tried another browser (like Firefox)?
