I too had my Windows Vista go bad on me. I called and got a recovery CD sent to me and tried running that on my laptop and i couldn't get it to complete. And then i took it to an IT specialist at work and he too tried to run it and he could not get it to work either. He checked the hard drive to make sure it was ok, and there were no problems with the hard drive. So i was completely stumped after that, so i called Toshiba tech support and they told me that since i tried to run it twice unsuccessfully it locked up my computer. He said i may need another recovery disk to fix it, but i'm afraid to try it again unsuccessfully and really mess up my computer. Is there a better or easier way than to wait for another CD in the mail that may or may not work?? Help please!
