Vista stuck on "please wait" after boot

Toshiba Sattelite A300, factory installed vista home premium.

After installing iTunes, Vista stuck on "please wait" after boot.

I restored backwards, enabled boot messages, reinstalled iTunes, and it now sais (translated)

please wait for - local activation server (or manage).

Any idea what's wrong with this Vista on Toshiba? I never had a problem with iTunes, on any other platform.

Vista stuck on "please wait" after boot.

Turn the computer on and immediately press and hold the F8 key.

On the Advanced Boot Options menu, choose Repair Your Computer.

When you reach the System Recovery Options menu, choose Startup Repair.

If that doesn't do the trick, go back to the System Recovery Options menu and do a System Restore.

If that doesn't fix things either, go back to the System Recovery Options menu, choose Command Prompt, and follow the directions here
