I have a Portege R500 running Vista Business OS and I want to reload it with xp Pro is there a install cd available at all please I know I will need to pay for the XP.
No disc is available since you are downgrading. There was an offer awhile ago where Business edition had a downgrade to XP on certain models. To be more accurate speak with a customer service rep (800) 457-7777 to learn what can be achieved for you.
If you can get all of the drivers for your model and put they on a disk. Then make sure your Xp disk can boot from it then wipe your laptop and reinstall XP from scrach. If you had any software on the hard drive it will be lost.
