Hi I just Noticed That the Check For updates option under help in the Classic Menus Bar is Greyed out also in the Options Box Automatic
Updates are greyed out. How do i fix this?

Check this registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\WindowsMediaPlayer
Look in the right pane for a key "DisableAutoUpdate". If it's there and the value is set to '1' change it to '0' (zero).
If that's not it, tell us your notebook's full model number and what OS and service pack you're using.
