One more thing, the Microsoft Elevated support tech said that I could borrow a full install disk from a friend to run the repair and it was OK, because I would still be under my license. I was kinda shocked, lol.
I am finally breaking down and buying a Vista Home Premium Full disk. I am assured by Microsoft elevated support that will work since t hat will give me the repair Vista option.
Really? I wasn't even aware that we could repair Vista that way. I thought it needed to be running already in order to make the repair.
